We visited Jasmine cottage in 2017 for a long weekend. Coming from Hertfordshire and arriving was no problem parking right outside was a bonus it made arriving late Friday with the Kids so easy. Norman had already provided the keys so we could arrive at our own time Thank you for that. Upon entering what looks like a small cottage is quite big inside, bedrooms were spacious and a nice kitchen where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The kitchen has everything you need and a washing machine with kids helped so much. The cottage has its old character which made the experience great. The open fire was nice where the kids played and we the parents toasted in the evening with a glass or two.
The cottage is located centrally for us we did Bath one day and Longleat Zoo the following day. The local shop was a nice walk in the mornings and we enjoyed The Three Daggers for an evening meal which I recommend. They also have local Brewery onsite and shop, so do visit that before 6:00PM. The locals were all so helpful which made the holiday experience a pleasant stay.
We enjoyed it so much we have now booked again Feb 2018 and will be returning shortly. Having an open fire and just relaxing this is an ideal place to stay if you’re around this area.
There is a lot you can do around the area if you venture out and having this nice cottage as a base is ideal.
Thanks to Jasmine Cottage see you again shortly.

We all enjoyed our time at Jasmine cottage in Steeple Aston. Having a log fire was an added bonus. Spent two evenings in the Longs Arms, good choice of menu, food was really good and plentiful. No room for dessert on 1st visit, and struggled on the 2nd visit to manage one, but we preserved .. it HAD to be done. Norman, thanks for having up to date leaflets, it was good knowing that information would be correct. Managed to complete 2 of the village area walks. Visited St. Mary's Church and met people from the parish who gave some interesting facts. Also visited Bath, Salisbury, Devizes and LaCock, all within an easy drive from the cottage. We would definitely like to return, and would recommend Jasmine cottage as a place to stay.

There were 2 of us, and we thought that Jasmine Cottage was warm and comfortable, with good beds and plenty of spare bedding, plus many power outlets and coat hooks and a good range of leaflets about local attractions. We were personally pleased to find a cottage without superfluous ornaments. Norman was very helpful answering our queries before we arrived, and reacted very quickly and positively when we had a problem during our stay, resolving it within the day and keeping us fully informed - thank you.

Steeple Ashton is a lovely village, with a very useful shop and we had 2 good evenings in the Longs Arms, where the food and drink were excellent. One warning though: don't choose the home-made steak pie unless you're very hungry - it was delicious but the portions were huge!

We've just returned from a lovely week at Jasmine Cottage. We visited Lacock, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat and Bath. The cottage itself is perfect and we can't wait to visit again.
