What great cottage, log fires roaring in the evening and chestnuts roasting for a great winter supper treat. The booking of the cottage was very easy with lots of information supplied by Norman. The key arrived without any problems and were very pleased when we found how nice and clean the cottage was. The village shop is a great asset with a great range of goods and also has a great eating area and very friendly staff. The local pub looked great but we did not have time to try the beer as we were down visiting our son who has cancer. I was not looking forward to the visit but it was made a lot better by us both being made so welcome by the locals. The area is great for visiting sights, we toured the Bath Christmas market on Sunday and as it was the last day bought a lot of bargains. Bath was only about half an hour away with good parking. On Monday we visited Cheeder Gorge and the cider and cheese shop is a must and then on to Wells which was only seven miles away and has some great shops and cathedral. We will both look forward to our next visit which is in two months time and we will look forward to staying in Jasmine Cottage again for us it ticked all the boxes. Colin and Valerie.

Great week, Great cottage, Pretty village.
Enjoyed the break catching up with family and out and about locally.
Good pubs, good beer and going home relaxed.

We have had a very enjoyable week exploring the area, with its wonderful historical sites and its lovely towns and villages. Having a very comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage to come back to every evening has been a great joy. We thank you for a very memorable stay.

We had a wonderful time here but of course, way too short, so much to do but only a week.
We loved Avebury and Stonehenge and both Longs Arms pubs and Bath and Steeple Ashton itself and of course, Jasmine Cottage!
It is such a cosy home that we had trouble leaving it every morning and we were glad to come home here every evening.
The surroundings are good for hiking and we would love to have seen more of it. Maybe next time!
Thank you very much, it was really great to be here! Our best wishes for you.

Test for me is ‘was I looking forward to returning to the Cottage after a long day exploring?’
Answer- it passed with flying colours!
